Multi-platinum singer and songwriter Dermot Kennedy releases his third studio album "The Weight Of The Woods". The album was created in close collaboration with renowned producer Gabe Simon, who has already worked with artists such as Noah Kahan and Lana Del Rey. The new work was recorded both in Dermot Kennedy's native Ireland and in Nashville, combining personal roots with an international sound. Dermot Kennedy's career began in 2017 with the EP "Doves & Ravens". This was followed two years later by his debut album "Without Fear", which became the most successful debut by an Irish artist of all time in Ireland. The album also enjoyed great international success: it reached the top 20 in the US charts, number 11 in the German album charts and was certified platinum in a total of twelve countries. Dermot Kennedy continued his success story with his second album "Sonder" in 2022 and once again impressed both fans and critics. To date, four of his singles have gone gold in Germany.
