Wage War: The Stripped Sessions (LP)

If 2021's Manic LP represents "the culmination of an intense creative journey" for metalcore quintet Wage War, how can 2022's The Stripped Sessions best be described? The 11-song acoustic LP is a reinterpretation of songs from the band's decade-plus career and, as vocalist Cody Quistad explains, "serves as a time capsule of our years to date. We love to let loose and play super-energetic, heavy music, of course, but it's just as important to me - and I think to people in general - to have the opportunity to hear something that has a different pace. And how cool is it when a listener has songs that they love in the high-energy realm, but it's the same band, and those songs now offer a different perspective."
