"Direct" is the studio album by Vangelis from 1988 and is known for its fascinating recording methods. The album was part of Vangelis' desire to shorten the distance between inspiration and realization of a musical composition. This desire is realized by developing a method that allows composing, arranging and recording simultaneously, without the help of computer pre-programming. Previously available only as a 1LP with 10 tracks, the complete 12-track album "Direct" from 1988 including "Dial Out" and "Intergalactic Radio Station" is now finally available as a 2LP set in all its glory! The 35th Anniversary Edition of this 2LP set is limited to 1500 individually numbered copies on transparent blue vinyl and includes an 8-page booklet with liner notes.
