The live album "Miles of Aisles" from 1974 became one of the best-selling releases by the Canadian from Fort Maclead in Alberta. This, her first live album, was recorded during her first tour with a backing band, after she had previously almost always performed solo. She engaged jazz fusion band L. A. Express (with Robben Ford), who had already supported her on the recordings for "Court and Spark".
