Once Upon a Time: An Album Exactly 30 years after its initial release, “Once Upon A Time (Remaster)” was reissued in 2015—Simple Minds’ most successful album in the UK. In October 1985, the band released the original album, which reached number one on the UK charts and the top ten on the US charts. None other than the production team of Jimmy Iovine and Bob Clearmountain produced the record back then. The cover artwork was created by Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn. The album’s release was followed shortly thereafter by a 15-month world tour by Simple Minds. For “Once Upon A Time (Remaster),” the original album material has now been restored using modern audio technology. As a result, the album is being released in 2015 with completely new sound quality.
