"Pipes of Peace" is Paul McCartney's fourth solo studio album. Released in 1983, the album was produced by George Martin and contains the hit single "Say Say Say", a duet with Michael Jackson, which spent six weeks at number one in the US charts. Whether he was successful or not, McCartney's 1983 LP shows another phase of his artistic development: his constant struggle to reconcile his classic sound with current trends. "Pipes of Peace" was released in 1983 and contained songs originally recorded during the sessions for the album "Tug of War". The album continued Paul's rich form of songwriting and contained two major hits, the Michael Jackson duet "Say Say Say" and the number one title track. Lyrically, the album contains Paul's thoughts on love, peace and the future, centered around the symbol of the peace pipe. Remastered in 2015.
