Popis
"CHOBA B CCCP", the Russian translation of "Back in the USSR", was released in the Soviet Union in 1988. This made Paul the first Western artist to release an album exclusively for this market. (It was released in the rest of the world after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991). When Paul was thinking about the next stage of his career after the 1986 album "Press to Play", he decided to return to his roots, so he hired three studio musicians and spent just two days covering his favorite hits from the 1950s.
