Bob Marley and the Chineke! Orchestra

The Chineke! Orchestra was formed in 2015 and on this album reinterprets some of Bob Marley's best-known songs with contemporary classical orchestration. Now the masterpiece, which contains 10 songs, is finally available on CD and vinyl! The founder of Chineke!, Chi-chi Nwanoku said himself about the album, "My goal is to create a space where black and ethnically diverse musicians can go on stage and know that they belong, literally. If even one BME kid feels that their skin color is getting in the way of their musical aspirations, I hope to inspire them, give them a platform, and show them that music, of any kind, is for everyone."
