Maggie Rogers: Surrender (LP)

The new album follows her debut album, Heard In a Past Life. The highly acclaimed long player reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2019 and earned Rogers a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. The Easton, Maryland native's new project was recorded in a variety of locations, from Electric Lady Studios in New York City to Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios near Bath to her parents' garage. A statement about the album says it "fully captures the frenetic intensity of the last two years of her life, bringing her refreshing honesty to stories of anger and peace and self-redemption, transcendence through sex and freedom through letting go.
