Stromae: Multitude

Stromae is back! The Belgian already rolled over the charts at the beginning of 2010, when he set a first sign with "Alors on danse" and gave the German charts the first French-language #1 hit since 1987 Since then, known for his musical openness - from electro to hip-hop, from folk to dance-pop - the "master of performance" (Die Zeit) has also been active as a designer and director and has long been considered the Belgian superstar export. Now he is back - after eight years - with the third album "Multitude"! In the first few years, the exceptional artist went from strength to strength: The debut album "Cheese", his first statement between electro / dance, hip-hop and pop, climbed to the top of the charts in the French-speaking world and immediately brought him a massive fan base. It got even bigger in 2013 with the release of "racine carrée": album No. 2 went to No. 1 in much of Europe (including France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Holland) and spawned Top 10 singles like "Papatouai." Showered with awards, he sold over five million albums worldwide and went on to perform at Coachella and Madison Square Garden. After the second gold album, however, it was quiet around the Belgian for eight years, who was active in the meantime with his creative label mosaert for Billie Eilish (who celebrates him as a genius), Dua Lipa or Major Lazer. With the single "Santé", which he dedicated to the far too often overlooked, but nevertheless so incredibly important members of society, Stromae then reported back in October 2021 - and proved above all that he also sets off with the next album on the dance floor: Video & cover of "Santé" were exactly instructions for dancing - grandiose danceable arranged over a mix of Cumbia & Electro. The first three comeback concerts in Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam, which he announced, were sold out after 15 minutes.
