Arguably the most significant albums of their career, Guns N' Roses released their third and fourth studio albums, Use Your Illusion I & II, in 1991 - both on the same day, September 17. Both albums, which set sales records in the U.S. with 685 thousand and 770 thousand albums in their first week of sales, and naturally ranked #1 and #2 on the Billboard charts, dropped legendary hits such as "November Rain," "Don't Cry," "Knocking On Heaven's Door," "You Could Be Mine," and "Civil War."
