Ella Fitzgerald: Ella at the Hollywood Bowl 1958 (LP)

This landmark recording, discovered in the private collection of producer Norman Granz, is the first time a songbook by the First Lady of Song has been released live. This album is also a first in other respects: although she performed regularly at the Bowl, this is the first full-length concert by Ella to be released at that legendary venue It also documents the only time Ella collaborated with Paul Weston, the gifted arranger and conductor of her Irving Berlin Songbook album.
