Chase & Status: What Came Before

The successful British duo Chase & Status is back on the stage of the drum'n'bass landscape with a new album. Their sixth studio album, "What Came Before," features some of the hottest newcomer talent on the British music scene, including Takura, BackRoad Gee and Ethan Holt Chase & Status stands for British drum'n'bass sound like hardly any other band. With their debut album "More Than A Lot" (2008) they directly reached gold status in the UK and could even trump this success with their second album "No More Idols" (2011), which reached platinum status. The two producers were already nominated for Best British Group at the BRIT Awards and won the Drum & Bass Award for Best Producer and Best Live Act in 2011 The new album "What Came Before" now combines 15 years of unparalleled rave experiences, sold out headline shows with the dynamics and raw energy of British raves. To transfer this energy to the album cover, Chase & Status invited 1000 fans to a unique album cover rave. The cover shows a section of the wildly partying crowd, who were able to immortalize themselves on the cover as a result of the event.
