"Ice On Fire" is a contemporary document for the pop of the 1980s and a testament to the tireless creativity of this artist who could always move with the times. His songs were always timeless. Ice On Fire is a rather overlooked record in Elton John's overall oeuvre, and one that should definitely be revisited. Roger Taylor and John Deacon of Queen, George Michael, Nik Kershaw and Sister Sledge were all among the contributors to Elton's album. Re-release of the nineteenth Elton John studio album Ice On Fire on vinyl, remastered at world-renowned mastering studio Lurssen Mastering. Elton's first album since Blue Moves, produced by his longtime producer Gus Dudgeon and released in November 1985. Includes the singles Nikita, Wrap Her Up, Soul Glove & Cry To Heaven. This reissue is faithful to the original Abbey Road Studios track listing, packaging and editing. Remastered at Lurssen Sound, USA, UMC/EMI now complete the Elton John Remastered Vinyl series launched in 2016. This includes "21 At 33" and "Ice On Fire." Also included are "Jump Up!", "Leather Jackets", "Reg Strickes Back", originally released in June 1988 and certified gold in August of the same year, and "The Fox", a favorite among Elton lovers and can be seen as a transitional work between the experimental records of the end of the decade and his full creative rebirth two years later with "Too Low For Zero". Also released is "The Complete Thom Bell Sessions," which brings together the complete recording sessions of Elton John and famed R&B songwriter and producer Thom Bell, and "Made In England." Also included are the albums "The Diving Board," which debuted at No. 3 on the UK album charts in 2013, and the album "Wonderful Crazy Night." The entire collection includes hits such as "Little Jeannie," "Nikita," "Blue Eyes," "Hoop Of Fire," "I Don't Wanna Go On Wit You Like That," "A Word in Spanish," "Made In England," "Blessed," "Mama Can't Buy You Love," "Home Again," "Wonderful Crazy Night," "In The Name Of You" and "A Good Heart." All reissues were faithfully recorded, packaged and engineered at Abbey Road Studios.
