"Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player" is Elton John's sixth studio album. It was originally released on January 26, 1973.
John composed all the tracks for the album in just two days and finally recorded them at the Château d'Hérouville studio near Paris, including the singles "Crocodile Rock" and "Daniel".
"Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player" reached number one in the charts in both the UK and the USA.
1LP, hand-pressed limited edition, in a clear PVC sleeve with backing card and obi strip. Remastered in 2017 by Bob Ludwig and cut at Abbey Road Studios.
