"Shades Of A Blue Orphanage" is the second studio album by Thin Lizzy, whose title is a combination of the names of the band members' previous bands. The album contains the well-known songs such as "Buffalo Gal" and "Sarah". Like the first studio album "Thin Lizzy" "Shades Of A Blue Orphanage" has now been remastered and extended by a further 9 tracks. Among them remixes of the aforementioned tracks, as well as recordings from the BBC Radio 1 session, e.g. of "Whiskey In The Jar" and "Black Boys On The Corner".
