Mike Oldfield: Amarok (35th Anniversary Edition) (2LP)

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of this much-loved Mike Oldfield LP, a personal favorite of the artist, here is a double LP edition mastered half-speed by Miles Showell. Originally presented as a 60-minute suite of music split into two halves on vinyl, the album has here been split into four 15-minute editions with Mike's approval to optimize fidelity, with expanded artwork to boot. Mike again plays almost everything on the album, including "Long Thin Metallic Hanging Tubes", as noted on the sleeve; a nod to "Tubular Bells", of course.
