Once in a blue moon, an album is released that not only changes the rules of the game, but changes the whole game, opening up entirely new possibilities for music. In the America of the late 60s, "The Velvet Underground & Nico" was such a record. And in Great Britain, another one appeared on June 16, 1972, with Roxy Music's debut album. Now, 45 years after its initial release, with the band's approval and cooperation, there is an opportunity to relive the album and trace the evolution of Roxy Music. Each Roxy Music album has been reissued by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios with a new half-speed recording. To reflect the audio quality, the artwork of all eight Roxy Music studio albums has been reworked and given a glossy lamination so that each album is not just a record, but a work of art.
