Beatles: (The White Album) (3CD limited deluxe edition)

Hard to believe, but true: the legendary album "The Beatles", also known as the "White Album", will be 50 years old in 2018. To mark this special birthday, there are now several new editions in different formats. The "White Album", which takes its name from its simple white cover designed by Richard Hamilton, was originally released on November 22, 1968. It is the Beatles' ninth studio album and the only double album by the British rock legends. For the reissue, all the songs were remixed from the original four-track and eight-track session tapes by Giles Martin and Sam Okell together with engineers and audio restorers at Abbey Road Studios in London. "The Beatles" is now available as a 3-CD deluxe edition with the new stereo mix of the album and the "Esher Demos". This is a 27-track Beatles unplugged album that was previously only available as a bootleg in poor quality. The 3-CD deluxe edition comes in an embossed digipack with a fold-out poster, portrait photos and a 24-page booklet. Vinyl fans will get their money's worth with the double LP with the new "The Beatles" stereo mix or the 4-LP set with stereo mix and "Esher Demos". Last but not least, the "White Album" will be released as a super deluxe edition with a total of six CDs and a Blu-ray. In addition to the new stereo mix and the "Esher Demos", the box includes further remixes and outtakes, for example of "Lady Madonna", "Hey Jude" and "Revolution", which were released as singles in 1968 but did not make it onto the original album. The Blu-ray audio includes an album mix in high-resolution PCM stereo, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 album mix, a Dolby True HD 5.1 album mix and a mono mix of the album.
