The Resistance is Muse's fifth studio album. It was released in 2009 and won the 2011 Grammy Award in the Best Rock Album category Musically, Muse shows a lot more maturity on this album than most rock bands display as they mature. This is something that not all Muse fans will enjoy, but hopefully something they can appreciate. And for new Muse fans, this would be a great album to start with.
