The success of "The Man Who" seemed impossible to expand upon, but when it came time to develop a follow-up, Travis' natural composure became her greatest asset. Returning to the studio with "The Man Who"'s co-producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck, Paul McCartney), they created a near-perfect 45-minute album that was praised by Q Magazine for being some of the "best and most complete" songs of their career.
