DIIV: Frog In Boiling Water (LP)

DIIV - Andrew Bailey, Colin Caulfield, Ben Newman and Zachary Cole Smith - announce their fourth album 'Frog in Boiling Water'. "Frog In Boiling Water", which was produced by Chris Coady and will be released via Fantasy Records, was a four-year process that nearly broke the band before the album was completed. With the goal of pushing their sound forward & making a record that challenged them, and treating the band democratically for the first time, DIIV embarked on a new journey, both individually and collectively. The result is 10 songs that mine a new lyrical and musical depth, with these two halves mirroring each other in a reflective and haunting whole. It's a hypnotic testament to perseverance and the notion that there's something else on the other side, while staying here, in the slowly heating waters of the here and now.
