Pet Shop Boys: SMASH The Singles 1985 - 2020 (3CD)

From June 2023, the time has come: All ever released singles of the most successful duo in British music history in one collection - sounds good? "SMASH - The Singles 1985 - 2020" brings together all the singles from 35 years of Pet Shop Boys. The collection will be released in different formats via Parlophone and can already be pre-ordered now. "SMASH - The Singles 1985 - 2020" takes us on a journey through the duo's unique career, beginning with their debut single "West End Girls," followed by iconic tracks like "Love Comes Quickly," "It's A Sin," "Always On My Mind," "Being Boring," "Suburbia," "Opportunities," "What Have I Done To Deserve This?" "Rent" and "Heart." The years 1993-2003 continue seamlessly, with hits such as "Go West," "Se A Vida É (That's The Way Life Is)," "New York City Boy," "Can You Forgive Her?", "I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Any More" and "Single Bilingual." From Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe's recent creative period, songs include "The Pop Kids," "Monkey Business," "Dreamland," "Love etc.," "I'm With Stupid," "Vocal" and their 2020 single "I Don't Wanna." "SMASH The Singles 1985 - 2020" will be released in various different formats including a 3CD box set, a 6LP vinyl box set and digital. Also available exclusively through the Pet Shop Boys Store are two special limited edition formats - a 6LP white vinyl boxset and a 3cassette boxset. A 3CD/2Blu-ray edition will also be released, containing all the music videos for the singles. The Pet Shop Boys commented: "We are just starting to work on a new album and in a few months we will continue our tour "Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live". So it's a good moment to take stock and compile all the singles we've ever released." As early as next month, people can look forward to the release of this year's edition of Pet Shop Boys' "Annually" book. The 64-page hardcover volume will include an exclusive CD EP titled "Lost," which features four tracks recorded in 2015.
