Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful (Translucent Red Vinyl) (LP)

With her last album "Endless Summer Vacation" and the mega-hit "Flowers", Miley Cyrus has achieved the almost impossible: she has become even more popular and celebrated her highest chart positions to date, and not just in Germany. Now the two-time Grammy winner is presenting her new album "Something Beautiful". It is the artist's ninth full-length album and her most ambitious work to date. Inspired by concept albums such as Pink Floyd's "The Wall", a common thread runs through all thirteen songs on "Something Beautiful". Healing trauma and finding beauty in the dark moments of life. "Even the ugliest times of our lives have something beautiful about them. They are the shadow, they are the charcoal, they are the shades. You can't paint a picture without lights and contrasts," says Miley Cyrus. To realize her vision, the musician has once again teamed up with producer Shawn Everett. The sound magician was already the perfect choice for "Endless Summer Vacation" and has already worked with a number of pop queens from Beyoncé to Adele. Also with Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), who does the honors here, as does supermodel Naomi Campbell. In addition, "Something Beautiful" is a visual album that will be accompanied by a film of the same name, of course with Miley Cyrus in the leading role. The multi-talented actress is also involved as director, producer and author. The fantastic pop opera will premiere at the renowned Tribeca Festival in New York before conquering movie theaters around the world.
