Flavio Boltro 5et: Joyful

For his new album Joyful, Flavio Boltro joined forces with the great Italian saxophonist Rosario Giuliani, a favorite sideman for many of the greatest bands, in addition being an acclaimed solo performer. Boltro and Giuliani brought together an all-star quintet of jazz masters including drummer Andre Ceccarelli, pianist Pietro Lussu and Darryl Hall on bass. The album's nine tracks feature Boltro originals and covers of standards by Lee Morgan, Horace Silver, Harold Arlen and Sting.
