Kinks: Kinks (LP)

The debut album "Kinks" by the British rock band The Kinks is now reissued as a deluxe 2CD edition. Along with the Rolling Stones, Beatles and The Who, The Kinks were one of the most successful British bands in the 1960s and part of the "British Invasion". They are ideally considered the forefathers of punk and Britpop. Together with one of the most important music producers of beat music - Shel Talmy - recorded their first studio album "Kinks" in 1964 recorded their first studio album "Kinks". The album includes one of the great singles of The Kinks, "You Really Got Gotten" Singles, namely "You Really Got Me" (Top 10 in the UK and US charts). The singer Ray Davies wrote the song, but Jon Lord (Deep Purple) and Jimmy Page (Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin) also collaborated on it. This deluxe Edition contains the original mono recordings, alternate takes, songs and interviews from the Interviews from BBC sessions and single tracks.
