The first album released during the Numa years was "Berserker", which represented the shift in Numan's sound as he embraced a heavier digital aesthetic while honoring the analog textures of his earlier work. The album not only showcases Numan's creative growth, but also celebrates his ability to push boundaries and take listeners on a captivating musical journey. On the album, Numan weaves fictional and personal narratives into a rich tapestry of sound that still resonates with fans 40 years on and is celebrated for its haunting themes and tracks such as 'My Dying Machine', 'This Is New Love' and 'Berserker'. This new remastered and expanded 2LP edition includes the original album and select bonus tracks, while the deluxe 4CD edition includes the original album along with bonus tracks, extended mixes of B-sides and Numan's live album "White Noise", recorded during the "Berserker" tour and showcasing his dynamic performance. The re-release of "Berserker" marks the beginning of "The Numa Years" retrospective and is just the first step in a wider exploration of this era.
