Grandbrothers: Elsewhere

With Elsewhere, Grandbrothers open a bold new chapter. Known for creating all their music on a grand piano, the duo are now expanding their sonic palette with analog synthesizers, drum machines and a new sense of rhythm and physicality. Elsewhere is released via their newly formed label __and__others, followed by an extensive EU/UK tour. It's a physical album, says pianist Erol Sarp. Turn it up - it's a pure energy boost. Grandbrothers are internationally recognized as one of the key figures redefining the interface between modern classical and electronic music. Inspired by artists such as John Cage, Steve Reich and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Erol Sarp and Lukas Vogel push their sound explorations towards minimal, ambient, IDM and techno, creating a sound spectrum with a unique analog and warm sound.
