The Police: Synchronicity (Limited Edition) (SHM-SACD)

In 1983, The Police returned from their self-imposed break with "Synchronicity". The album turned the band into superstars. Unfortunately, it was also to be the last before Sting left his colleagues in favor of a solo career. Five of the eleven tracks entered the charts, including the Grammy-winning stalker song "Every Breath You Take". Sting emphasized that he could work best when pain and turmoil characterized his life - the title "King of Pain" testifies to this. Unfortunately, the poor state of health also affected the band, so the chapter 'The Police' ended with "Synchronicity". This title is an SHM-SACD. This format is a further development of the single-layer SACD and uses a particularly light-transparent plastic (Super High Material). This enables a significantly better readability of the pit-land structures on the surface than is possible with hybrid SACDs. Universal's SHM SACDs are generally digitized from the master tapes of the albums into DSD without any changes. SHM SACDs can be played on any SACD player.
