The Spirit of '67 was created during a creative high point in 1966, when Paul Revere & The Raiders were at the height of their popularity, playing hundreds of concerts and appearing five days a week on ABC-TV's Where The Action Is! The Spirit of '67 was released in November 1966, is considered the best album of the Raiders and contains three hit singles. The Top 10 album went beyond the creative boundaries of this band, who experimented with different styles. It was also the last album in the classic line-up, three central members left the band shortly after the release of this album. This Deluxe Edition is the first digital release of Spirit of '67's hard-to-find mono mix and includes three bonus tracks.
