Remastered CD first release of the jazz-funk album classic "Turn This Mutha Out" (1977) by drummer and percussionist Idris Muhammad, who worked with Fats Domino, Curtis Mayfield, Jerry Butler and Sam Cooke, for example. Produced by David Matthews, the album comes in his distinctive disco-jazz-funk sound and includes the classic "Could Heaven Ever Be Like This," sampled by Jamiroquai and Drake, among others.
