Sigur Rós: Takk (BLURAY AUDIO+VIDEO)

''Takk...'' (Icelandic for ''Thank you...'') is the fourth studio album by Icelandic band Sigur Rós. Unlike its predecessor ''( )'', the album's lyrics are mainly in Icelandic, with occasional elements of ''Vonlenska'' ("Hopelandic"), a Scottish form of gibberish. The songs "Andvari", "Gong" and "Mílanó" are sung entirely in "Vonlenska". In addition, the song "Mílanó" was written together with the string quartet Amiina. For album number four, these icy grumpy Icelandic ambient noise rockers wrote real lyrics in a lifelike, not made-up language. Still, expect frontman JThor Birgisson, who previously only sang in his own invented language "Hopelandic", to sing in a tone so eerie that the words sound otherworldly anyway.
