Lisa Gerrard, the renowned Australian singer and composer, presents the compilation "Come Tenderness". With the inspiration of the healing power of water at its core, the album has been personally curated by Lisa and features ten of her most exceptional works remastered, as well as a brand new song 'Whispers'. The hand-picked playlist forms a cohesive album, showcasing each track in a new light, along with striking artwork by Nigel Grierson. In keeping with its collaborative nature, the album features iconic tracks Lisa has created over the years with Daniel Johns, Astrid Williamson and Patrick Cassidy. At the forefront of each track is Lisa's ethereal and iconic vocals, which combine with her expressive and profound compositions to create a truly emotional listening experience. With a vision and vocal style that is as unique as it is precise and all-encompassing, Lisa Gerrard has established herself as one of the world's most acclaimed film composers and singers. She was even awarded a Golden Globe for her work on the soundtrack to "Gladiator" with Hans Zimmer. Her musical career began in the early 1980s when she founded the duo Dead Can Dance together with her Australian colleague Brendan Perry. Nine albums were released between 1984 and 1995. Lisa's vocal performances can still be heard all over the world. in 2018, she performed as part of "Gladiator Live" at the Royal Albert Hall in London and as part of the tour "The World of Hans Zimmer - A Symphonic Celebration". In 2021 and 2024, she was a featured vocalist on the soundtrack to "Dune" and "Dune: Part Two", directed by Denis Villeneuve.
