At the latest with the masterpiece "...And They Have Escaped The Weight Of Darkness" and his award-winning soundtrack for the TV series "Broadchurch", Olafur Arnalds is mentioned in the same breath as young, hip, multi-talented composers like Nils Frahm or Jon Hopkins. They perfectly understand how to combine the experimentation and adventure of electronic music with the sensitivity of classical music and - as here on the new "Late Night Tales" - complement it with brilliant post-dubstep (Koreless, James Blake) Olafur Arnalds contributes several exclusive tracks (among others from his techno project Kiasmos), as well as the obligatory cover version (Destiny's Child "Say My Name"!).
