Popis
This is the first complete live album by Sparks—brothers Ron and Russell Mael—recorded in 2025. Following their world tour last year, Sparks were invited to perform a one-time concert on the moon—the first band in history to do so! This album features an introduction and an outro by Cate Blanchett, who accompanied the band on their journey to the moon. “Sparks Live On The Moon” features a complete live set of twenty songs spanning the band’s 54-year career, including “This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us,” “The Number One Song In Heaven,” “When Do I Get To Sing ‘My Way’,” “The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte,” as well as songs from their latest album, “MAD!” “Sparks Live On The Moon” follows “MAD!”, their acclaimed 28th studio album, which reached No. 2 on the UK charts last year—their highest chart position to date!
