"'Movie' is the soundtrack of the life I carry inside me. I often get requests to compose film music, but I wanted my fourth album to be the first movie I scored myself," says Sofiane Pamart. Conceived as a deeply personal and cinematic project, it marks a new artistic milestone - and Pamart's most ambitious work to date. The album is the first "movie" that he has set to music himself. Twenty powerful yet sensitive compositions form this central work in the career of the exceptional pianist. For "Movie", Pamart is working with the renowned Prague Philharmonic Orchestra - consisting of over 70 musicians - and a 24-piece choir. In addition, fourteen internationally renowned guest artists enrich this extraordinary project, which was composed in California and recorded in Los Angeles, New York, Brussels, Paris, London and Prague. At once intimate, distinctive and monumental, MOVIE marks a decisive turning point in Pamart's career. A 'classic' pop album without borders.
