It was on a cold Budapest December night that Hungarian jazz great Kristóf Bacsó and his trio first performed with Benin singer and guitarist Lionel Loueke. An evening of contrasts: the cold outside and the hot beats in the club, Bacsó's intellectual playing and Loueke's euphoric singing. A stroke of luck that this encounter was recorded and is now available on CD.
