Cure: Three Imaginary Boys

It all started with this album in 1979, THE CURE entered the public eye for the first time and were able to surprise with their cover concept (only three household appliances on the front cover, hard-to-find title details), which ensured a lot of press. Still in the stylistic discovery phase, Three Imaginary Boys stands between the punk of the 70s and the new wave of the 80s. With the title track Three Imaginary Boys, however, Robert Smith and his men clearly show where the journey should go and, as is well known, went with the subsequent albums Seventeen Seconds and Faith. A classic of modern music history.
