Incubus play to their strengths It's hard to believe that it's been another six years since the release of their last album "If Not Now, When?". On it, Incubus struck a surprisingly poppy and friendly note. in 2017, the alternative rockers from Calabasas, California, are now presenting their new album "8", with which they are returning to their origins. Two previews were already available at the beginning of the year: the two energetic singles "Nimble Bastard" and "Glitterbomb" suggest that "8", which is Incubus' eighth studio album, will be much more rocking and aggressive again. The album contains a total of eleven new songs, which Brandon Boyd (vocals), Mike Einziger (lead guitar), Ben Kenney (bass), José Pasillas II (drums) and Chris Kilmore (turntables, keyboards) produced last year together with Dave Sardy (Slayer, Oasis, Rage Against The Machine) and none other than the electro and dubstep DJ Skrillex. After six years, Incubus have finally released a new album. With "8", the band once again proves where their strengths lie.
