Phil Collins: The Singles (3CD)

All of the pop icon's hits on one album Phil Collins revisits his musical past in 2016 and reissues his greatest hits with "The Singles". The singer has collected 33 songs on two CDs and four LPs, including his number one hits "In the Air Tonight" (1981), "You Can't Hurry Love" (1982), "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)" (1984), "Sussudio" (1985), "One More Night" (1985), "Separate Lives" (1985), "A Groovy Kind of Love" (1988), "Two Hearts" (1988) and "Another Day in Paradise" (1989). There are also many other classics on "Singles", such as "I Don't Care Anymore", which earned Collins his first Grammy nomination. Also included is the song "You'll Be In My Heart", which Collins composed for the soundtrack of the Disney film "Tarzan". It was awarded the Oscar in the "Best Original Song" category. As with his recently re-released solo albums in the "Take A Look At Me Now..." series, the songs on "The Singles" are completely remastered versions. As a special highlight, in addition to the double CD and the LP version, there is also a "The Singles" set with a total of three CDs. This deluxe version includes a total of 45 tracks with which Phil Collins celebrated international success. In contrast to the other formats, the songs are listed here in chronological order.
