Emma Rawicz & Gwilym Simcock: Big Visit

"Big Visit" marks the beginning of an exciting musical partnership between Emma Rawicz and Gwilym Simcock. The album features original compositions by Emma and Gwilym, written specifically for their collaboration, as well as arrangements of their favorite tracks such as "You've Changed" and "Visions". The chemistry between the pair and their shared passion for music is reflected in every track, and the title of the album reflects the free-spirited nature of their recording process. This album is very special to us - the beginning of a musical connection that is sure to be long-lasting and fruitful. There is no better way to begin and develop a musical relationship than in a duo constellation, and you can hear that connection blossom in real time on the album. We have both contributed music written specifically for each other, as well as two tracks that we simply love to play: "You've Changed" and "Visions" Creating and developing this music together has been an exciting and fulfilling process, drawing on a shared love of the many influences that shaped both of our early musical lives, while exploring new and different areas for each of us. The joy of making music is at the heart of our approach, and our recording session was full of creativity and freedom. (In fact, much more music was recorded, and we hope to present it to you in the future!)
