King Crimson: Discipline

With the breakup of the classic '70s King Crimson lineup, Robert Fripp gradually withdrew from the public eye in the mid-'70s, emerging as a guitarist on albums by Peter Gabriel and David Bowie, as well as a producer for The Roches, Peter Gabriel and Daryl Hall. He also recorded his prestigious solo debut "Exposure" and developed the Frippertronics guitar system. in 1981 he started a new band with Bill Bruford, Tony Levin and guitarist and singer Adrian Belew. The band, initially called "Discipline", quickly became the 1980 rebirth of King Crimson and "Discipline" was the first studio album from 1981.
