Kali Malone: All Life Long (2LP)

Kali Malone's highly anticipated new album "All Life Long" is a collection of music for pipe organ, choir and brass quintet, composed by Kali Malone between 2020 and 2023. Choral music performed by the Macadam Ensemble under the direction of Etienne Ferschaud at the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-L'Immaculée-Conception in Nantes. Music for brass quintet, performed by Anima Brass at the Bunker Studio in New York City. The organ music was played by Kali Malone and Stephen O'Malley on the historic tempered pipe organs of the Église Saint-François in Lausanne, the Orgelpark in Amsterdam and the Malmö Konstmuseum in Sweden. Kali Malone composes with a rare clarity. Her music is patient and focused, built on a foundation of evolving harmonic cycles that evoke hidden emotional resonances.
