Cher: Greatest Hits 1965 - 1992

Cher has announced the release of her first Christmas album. "Cher Christmas" marks the 27th album in the career of this pop music icon and is the first album with new material since "Closer to the Truth" ten years ago. "Are you spending Christmas with me?" is the caption for the first cover, which shows the 77-year-old in blue jeans with sparkling rhinestones and an oversized shirt standing on a giant snowball surrounded by Christmas baubles. The second teaser post reads: "Christmas already? But I've got nothing to wear...", while we see Cher in a beautiful floor-length sequin dress, standing on an ice floe with icebergs in the background. During a visit to Good Morning Britain last week, Cher announced that the upcoming Christmas album would clearly bear her stamp: "It's a Cher Christmas album. It's not your mother's Christmas album", said the musician, who added that she was "really, really excited because there's millions of people on it, and I've never had duets. I've never had people on any of my records." She did not reveal which names were involved, but promised that the features were "special": "I mean, I'm in awe of all of them." You can be curious!
