Exceptional singers For centuries, Venice has been a magical attraction for travelers from all over the world. In addition to the magnificent palazzi, squares and churches built on stilts with their impressive vaults and campaniles as well as the unique history of art and music, the lagoon city is also famous for its living landmarks: the singing gondoliers on the numerous canals, whose songs have been mentioned by Goethe, Rousseau and Mozart. On his debut album for PROSPERO, baritone Holger Falk slips into the Venetian parade role and takes the audience on a journey through centuries of song repertoire. Also on board the concert gondola: the renowned early music ensemble Nuovo Aspetto and the electro duo Merzouga, who contribute fascinating sound impressions from the incomparable city.
