Glen Hansard: Didn't He Ramble

The red-blond Irishman with the charismatic voice is back: Glen Hansard releases the second album under his name three years after his solo debut. The singer-songwriter is musically a dinosaur - since 1990 he has been involved in the Dublin music scene with his band The Frames and was active in the folk rock duo The Swell Season. Hansard also became known as an actor in the music films "The Commitments" and "Once", for which he also wrote the highly acclaimed and award-winning soundtrack. "Didn't He Ramble", produced by Thomas Bartlett (The National, Sufjan Stevens) and David Odlum (Paloma Faith, Tinariwen) has become not only a personal, but also a very elegant album - a share in this has certainly the collaboration of John Sheahan (Dubliners), Sam Beam (Iron And Wine) and Sam Amidon.
