Jeff Beck: Who Else!

Jeff Beck's seventh solo album is a mixture of styles brought together by all the musicians featured on it. The lineup also includes Jennifer Batten (a guitarist who completed three tours with Michael Jackson). "Who Else!" marks an impressive return of the master of the guitar after a ten-year hiatus. "What Mamma Said" is an explosive opener for an explosive album. Here we are introduced to Jennifer Batten, Jeff's composer and second guitarist/midi keyboard partner. The second track, "Psycho Sam," couldn't have been better named. "Brush With the Blues," the third song, is arguably one of the best tracks of Jeff's entire career. "Hip-Notica" is a fun track with Ms. Batten doing some excellent organ midi work. After ten years, Jeff Beck is back and he's back to stay.
