Axel Rudi Pell: Ghost Town

The music of Bochum-based guitarist, composer and bandleader Axel Rudi Pell requires neither an encyclopaedia nor a navigation device. Because what probably applies to almost all successful musicians also applies to Pell: his songs bear his typical, always characteristic Signature, a hybrid of powerful guitar riffs and catchy melodies as well as the foundation of a bravura band led by American singer Johnny Gioeli american singer Johnny Gioeli, ex-Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli, bassist Volker Krawczak and keyboarder Ferdy Doernberg. And although Pell has been delighting his fans with this significant mix for well over 35 (!) years, his albums always contain albums are always full of ingenious surprises or remarkable collaborations.
