In the early nineties, Michael Jackson had lost his superstar status a bit. The new album project initially ran under the title "Decade", in the end Jackson decided on the title "Dangerous". "Dangerous," produced without Quincy Jones, sold more than 30 million copies worldwide, and nine of its 14 songs ended up in the top 10 of the U.S. charts. Michael Jackson is again the biggest superstar ever. "Dangerous" reached the 10 million mark in sales in the first two months after its release. Jackson's two previous albums, "Bad" and "Thriller," each took more than four months to reach that goal.
