Some Great Reward is Depeche Mode's fourth album, which was largely produced at Hansa Studios in Berlin. The LP contains the single "People are People", the band's first number one hit in Germany. Depeche Mode finally achieved their breakthrough in Germany with "Some Great Reward". The album climbed to number two in the charts. The second single "Master And Servant" reached the same position.
